How to Save our dying world

As many of you know, the world could be coming to an end due to the strain that we are putting on the world, I have looked through many article to see different ways to tackle global warming and have a hope of saving the world.

I now ask you to read through these, and try doing all of them or some of them for a week and see the difference it can make on your life and others.

[1] Our love for cars and vehicles, are destroying the world, we dont need cars to take us to the corner shop down the road, or to drop and pick up your children from school - just think that you could kill to birds with one stone, by not driving you are helping the planet, and you can cut down of road accidents. Most cars can only carry four people not including a driver, but when you look at public transport, you can fit 80 or more people on one vehicle. That will stop 20cars on the road, and due to the large amount of transport available you can take 100times that.

[2] We are not all adults, so we dont all drive, but there are other things that we do such as watch TV -, one thing that you can do is Switch it off! Did you know that the blinking red eye on television standby could use up to 50 per cent of the energy the TV uses when switched on? In fact, every electrical device you leave on consumes more energy that you would imagine, so turn them off and see your parents carbon production (and electricity bills) dip, this could earn rewards for you.

[3] Re-use paper, there is no point writing one word on a piece of paper, the deciding that its scrap, or you made a mistake - cross it out. The less you use the better. Paper is not the only thing that can be re-used, or recycled. Think. How much of it did you really need in the first place, and is it really rubbish? What we may think of as being old and useless (last year's mobile phone, for example) is probably useful to someone else. Why not recycle and give it another life?

Those are some ways to help the world - the real question is you willing to save the later generations by doing all these.

i dont like car and motorcycle.
i need something smaller and no need to park it in the parking lot.
just put it in the bag or in a capsule.
using gas from oil is destroying earth. we should use electricity

Make the cars go on gas or something, there is alot of stuff you can do to save the planet, the only problem is that nobody follow them.

our president said : Use the energy wisely.. specially OIL

we can save our world at least by plant enough tree to make it better
not pull trash in wrong place
dont to much use plastics
and start to using alternative energy

I think people need to take a long hard look at the amount of energy they waste.

And dont even get me started on SUVs...I've known so many people who have bought one only to complain after the fact to how expensive they are to drive...Which is what I was telling them BEFORE they bought the damn things.

I wonder how much better gas mileage would become if manufacturers were required to share the costs of operation and how much cleaner they would run if the company was charged for clean up of their products effect on the enviroment.

they have already released electric cars but the car company only hired them out and then when they lost intsrest in them the car company rounded up evry single 1 a nd crushed them watch the show who killed the electric car

Nice dude, u´re really thinking about the planet. But here are some things i think u should know.

1. Nowadays they´re starting to introduce cars that runs on H2O(water). Last time i saw 5 busses runnin on water, looks pretty awsome, u see water coming from the exhaust pipe. Is not yet official, but they´re planning on making it official in the near future. And about the accidents, u´re completly right. But accidents happens.

2. I have no comment on point 2, cause u´re totally right.

3. In the netherlands there are plenty places where u can throw papers special dustbins, and those papers get recycled. So throwing a paper away in those dustbins isnt that harmfull, but throwing it in a normal dustbin is.

Anyway i think u got really good ideas, keep on helping the earth and other people will start following u.

P.S. Do u use plane to travel?????

I think that the whole global warming hype is out of control. Yes we should recycle and try to conserve as much as possible and we should try to find alternative energies but I don't think our world is coming to an end very soon. Water levels have been rising since the last ice age and India which has been warming has increased its agricultaral output greatly. I don't think its the end of the world as we know it.

PS
Ibye our cars already run on gasoline. Also Electricity requires smog spewing plants to run them.

We really need to save the world. Its should be saved for future and the further utilization of energy also. I think the main problem is polluted environment. what do you think?
