Which big movie of the summer are you looking foward to?

Post by Serenity »

May is going to be a busy month with Pirates of the Carribean: At World's End, Shrek 3, Spiderman 3 all coming out. And that's only the begining of the summer movies. Another Die Hard movie and a third Bourne...not to mention another round with Harry Potter.

What movie are you most looking forward to seeing this summer?
I think Pirates should be a fun romp, but I *have* to finish Peter Parker's evolution. So Ill be at Spiderman 3 waiting for Venom to pop up. And Harry 5 is just a reliable standby.

What movies are you hoping disappears down a cold dark well?

I hate to say this, BUT, Transformers already looks to break my heart. I grew up on the original Hasbro line and it takes ALOT for me to be impressed especially when it comes to Prime. And alas....its a Michael Bay movie....I think Team America should of taken Michael Bay out when they had the chance.

And ANOTHER Hairspray???!! John...Travolta...in...drag....I loved John Waters original, but Im wavering on this one...which happens to have Marc Shaiman's music from the Broadway version....You remember Marc dont you? He cowrote the music for South Park: Bigger Longer and Uncut.

I think Im gonna be stuck in the theatre for awhile for the next few months....

I realize how incredibly this makes me sound, but I couldnt wrap my head around GHost Rider because I was too busy trying to figure out how Nick Cage got his hair back for the part. It was too distracting...it looked like he got one of Elvis' hair pieces in the divorce from Lisa Marie.
