I am just about to open a forum on my acount and i was wondering if it took up space when member joined and posted in the forums. Does anyone know if it takes up space?

It is impossible not to take up space, but it takes up only a little, unless your site is a huge hit like smokyhosts with over 1000 members. I highly doubt that your forum will get to 1000 members before you could organize more space.

yes true but can you ligt get more space even if you have the highst free hosting

it takes more on SQl at the forum data base and som of your account space

is there a current amount of space i have for SQL or is it unlimted space on the SQL databases.

lol, of course it does, but not so much, image a txt file with 10 word, which is like less than 1k :)
but you need to watch out for traffics if your site grows up :)

yes, i know that the traffic can be a lot when i put a forum up

Everything takes up space, but what you're talking about should only take up a few KB.
