The wallop page after you sign in looks ALOT better than the dull scientific page Microsoft used as a home page, that kinda disuads people from wanted to get invited, I mean the animation is great! (of course since it's made with macromedia you expect more then)

Wallop is a kind of a community place brought by Microsoft Corporation where the members can interact with any other member and have fun alontg with personal/group blogs system. It has a very unique and amazing GUI which makes it very intresting and easy to work on. However i guess they too are following the footsteps of google in the manner they launched gmail and orkut along with that only invited members kind of sighup. (that is only the existing members can invite others otherwise the membership is not open to all) I guess this kind of marketing impressed even the microsoft people a lot :!:
