where can i download a cpanel

hello
i have installed apache at home, with php and mysql
so i need to download a cpanel, as well as phpBB and phpMyAdmin
i have the last two but i don't have a cpanel
can anyone tell where can i get one from?

You can always get cpanel from http://www.cpanel.net

But are you sure you would want to install it on your home pc? It costs a bomb!!

oh, no!
they don't have the version for windows
it's just being developed

aren't there any free ones?

Cpanel is not a free software.

And well, i think you are getting confused between cpanel and control panel. Cpanel is the name of one of the control panels in the hosting industry. You may be able to find a few free control panels (not cpanel) by searching at http://www.hotscripts.com

and yes i thought cpanel is just a shorter name for control panel

He is Admin, his posts do not count for points, he is not required to keep from double posting. But would be kool if he also ( learned how to use the Edit Button lol, ( Just remember I am kidding, I just hear you say it alot lol. )

Why would you want to make your computer a server? Maybe I can find another way for what your trying to accomplish, maybe.

why do i want to make computer server?

well, definitely i'm not going to become a hosting company by this.
i just need the server to test my php scripts and other stuff
for php and mysql you definitely need one server

the second reason is that i can have any domain i want!!! FOR FREEE!!!:)
