Playstation 3 (80GB)

Well,
Now Sony is releasing PS3 80GB! With Backward Compatibility (To play
ps2 and ps1 games):mad:
Well, I got a PS3 40GB for xmas by my parents, and they thought that I would
also be able to sell my ps2 because they THOUGHT (me too) that the ps3 40GB would play ps2 games--but guess what? You cant! Only the 60GB+
Now, do you think the 80GB will be better? I think it will,
which is what upsets me
What do you think?

You should have read the info before buying it, or get it. Sell it and buy one of the 60gbs

agree with iBye. Sell it and buy the 60gb
Normally i'll wait a few years after console release then buy it. Get used to the Sony's style.

My friend has a 40 Gig one which has backwards compatibility. It seems as they claim it doesn't have backwards compatibility but almost everyone I have asked who owns a PS3 can play any PS2/PS1 games on it. There is a limited number of games which are backwards compatible but that is a different story.

I tried playing PS2 Games on my PS3 but it doesn't work?
Can you tell me if they used any software o anything like that?

I would LOVE to play my PS2 Games again!

I dont think there is any software to do it, its just the PS3's OS that handles it.

I tried playing my ps1 games...and THEY worked! OMG
This is so unfair!
I wish I could play my PS2 Games again!

You can sell both PS2 and 3 and buy the PS3 80GB , that will cover the price .
