One laptop per child

Which parents wouldn't want the best of each child? If it would help with the development of the child, the parent would surely get one to let the kid mingle about - unless the kid is foolish enough to break the screen and throw a tantrum over the graphics. (-Hehe, i am lucky to have a 512RAM and good laptop) However though i may be lucky, i feel abit sad for the poor and poverty-stricken people.
