My new suggestion is that you should make a referral contest to gather more members and more activity.This will be greate for us members and for the forum.

To motivate our members you can offer free info's or points for a nr of referrals.

i think the admin has already given answer to this question be4. If i am not mistaken his reason for not setting up the referall system was due to false registration& spam.

still, this could be worked upon i think.. may be a little complex tho.

yep, If the referral system is active I can bring genuine members to this forum. Because the forum lacks many members I'd suggest that the admin enables the referral system.

it will be a greate ideea..
..the admin can put the moderators to work a little bit more to prevent spam or whatever...

i would probably bring a handful of genuine members too ... another thing:

this site is english-only, right? (we dont even want transaltions?)

I agree a referral system would be great but limit resources to give away for free could be a major concern. I also agree with what the Admin has stated before due to the false registrations and such, if a plan could be devised for only allowing one registration per IP address that would limit down the false registrations and such but to also allow for a proper system the ammount of referals would have to be great or do it in a contest such way. But in another instance you should refer your friends anyway because anyone who actually joins is more possible funds to do such free rewards programs.

If a referal system was to ever work the rewards should be limited to how much activity your referee's keep and how they handle themselves. In my opinion I do not believe this idea would be remotely possible without a way to keep registration to 1 account per ip address.

yes and also even if there was a way to do that how would you control people with dynamic IPs or whatever they are called which change constantly?

I hope u find one cause its really gonna be hard to find a way. There are plenty sites out there that doesnt allow dynamic ip, but there are always programs like anonymizer(cant even be tracked by the police) which gives u a unique ip to surf around on the internet.

i really hope u find one. But in the mean time just introduce sh to your friends.
