Google search in a new window

For greater convenience in searching, Google lets you open search results in a new window.... by default the results are displayed in the same window. Now you can open the google search in a new window..just :
.. Go to the Google homepage, http://www.google.com. ... **** on the Preferences link beside the search box. .... Check the box "Open search results in a new browser window".. ...**** Save to save your preference.
Alternatively if you like to open just thelink in the search in a new window, hold down the shift key while **** on a search result.
