Anyone know of a good site that teaches how to make phpBB tmepletes?

ionce you unzip the phpbb pack, there's a folder called templates, inside it you'll find a folder for every theme you have, and in these folder you'll find files like overall_header.tpl. open that with notpad, or any text editor you have and you'll see that it's simple html, now to edit things, you have to know html, if you do know it, just play around with the designe, until you understand what everything does, make sure you backup everything.
That's the way i learned how to edit phpbb templates, and for next time, try to rely on yourself, and google.

like darco said, try to improve from original phpbb template and use ur imagination to made it look better
