Interchangable Processors ???

Some one out there should make ALL processors interchangable or be able to add mutiple processors.
If there already is I would llike to know.

Having all processors interchangeable probably won't happen because things change so fast. However, there are already multi-processor motherboards.

i don't think its really possible because the design is almost always been redeisgned and the form of the chipsize and voltage are constantly changing hence constant new boards.

It Would Be Good, Best idea is that you should be able to combine processor power like RAM

As if AMD & Intel would merge to make an interchangable CPU.

Given the current technology, it don't seems plusible. Not about company, competitions/monopolisations, chips improve fast, but not circuitry. Unless they face, the problem, however fast their chips can go, it will not work.

im suspecting that what he meant was that just to have one universal CPU socket, and one universal motherboard for all CPUs.
