This message is more targeted to SHadmin. Please help me. Here is my problem: Using CPanel file editor i'm not able to edit files, when i edit file and press save or trying to change permission it gives me an error: [a fatal error or timeout occurred while processing this directive]
What is wrong? i dont get it... Maybe owner is not me or something else. SHadmin, please help me!!!

Depends who created the file. This happens with CMS a lot. You just need to edit the file on your side, delete the file off the server, then upload the new copy from your comp. I use dreamweaver.

to make this allot eaier i sugest a ftp manager such as cute ftp or another one. with this you can CHMOD very easy and edit right from the manager.

also i sugest not upload a file that is read only on your comp through the fime manager or from a upload system on your webpage as this will enable deletion or CHMOD ing.
