Email Sniper defense

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I have set-up emails to send out information based on input to a form as described bt Kevin Yank in "Database Driven Website". My fear though is someone programatically inputting thousands of requests via the form and thus creating some nasty problems.

Any advice on how to implement email within a website, yet minimizing chances that my smtp server will be shut down.

Thanks everyone

Well I'm not sure if this will actualy work, but you can create a forum via Macromedia Flash, you're better off using Flash than regular web forms.

not really,PHP would be a much better way,but that is no sure way to prevent programs from overloading your server,so i suggest the mail() function
