how can you compare php with html
they are totally different things
php is a scripting language and is good for creating dynamic websites

It's basically two different things. PHP are meant for text processing on the web. That's the basic idea of it. (X)HTML are just for 'displaying' it only. It does not do processing for things. It really shouldnt be compared. Max is correct anyways..
