what do you think is it ok to use info domain for university intranet site?
but someone had told me that you can find info for $1.5
is it true?

I am not sure on that it will take some googling but there might be and I havent even got a confermation email on the payment yet so it is not finnished.

It is not possible to get a .net account with points. Only .info.
The only way you are going to get a .net account is either
http://www.cjb.net or buying one. CJB ad's a advertizement bar on your site and is only a redirect Ex.
http://www.yoursite.cjb.net.
Hope this helps you but for a
http://www.yoursite.net you will have to pay money.

Just be careful about shopping by price alone. All domain registers have to pay about $5 USD per domain. If you see any offers for anything less, then the domain register is actually loosing money. I use godaddy, but then again I've heard horror stories of using them for anything other then domain hosting.

I got a way build a server lol but thats like 400 000 000% more expensive. There is no way you can get a good domian for free. so I say shop arround for cheap ones and give it a go.

Domain names are something you buy and forget. But if you get a low priced domain, you might get low quality service/ headaches.
