Where to find freelance designers for project basis work?

Is there any good resource sites or database where I can find designers to do some graphics design for a new website?

Any suggestions/pointers will be useful.

if you are looking for freebies you're gonna have trouble. if your paying it should be easy since the internet biz is so flooded people will usually take any job even if wages arent too good.
