Hi
Cron Daemon keeps bombing my email address with script updates it sends me all the updates it does every day how can i stop cron daemon from emailing me every single day with the updates it does
i still want to be notified of server activity but i want to stop the cron daemon from emailing me every day how can i stop this if possibe

Hi,
Cron Daemon is sending you mail means i am assuming you are having a VPS and root access to WHM.
You can then stop cron deamon from sending you mail by accordingly adjusting the settings in the "contact manager" section of your WHM inteface.

yes i do have root access where abouts do i adjust the contact manager settings to stop Cron Daemon from sending me emails ?

If you know exactly which owner uses that cronjob, then you may follow the below steps...
First login to that user's account via cPanel
go to the cronjob editor and use the advanced mode.
Then find the cronjob which is sending you the mails and redirect it to "/dev/null"

hello
ive done that but most of the emails are things like script updates and general server updates
which are sent to the "root" account
i think its part of web host manager

Then you need to follow the same procedure by logging into SSH as root user!

what is the command to run in ssh as root to stop all the cron demon email updates (script updates server backup emails)

Hi,
You can stop all those mails by logging into WHM as root. Then go to Server Contacts --> Change System Mail Preferences
Here simply delete the email address in all the 3 fields.
That will stop all the system emails being delivered to your inbox.
