Monthly Bandwidth Limit?

Post by Flipper3 »

When I asked to be upgraded to the Power Plan, I had received a 10GB Monthly Bandwidth Limit, however right now it shows up as 5GB for me. Was this lowered for some reason?

And if it was lowered, is there ANY way to get it back up to 10GB? I REALLY need those couple extra gig of bandwidth every month. :(

Hi,
At the moment the resource limits are as given at http://www.smokyhosts.com/free-hosting/

Also, as far as i remember, i have always increased the limits, dont think i have ever reduced the limits, atleast as far as i remember.

Let me see if i can work out something for the special power hosting package members :)

I do see the resource limits, but I am like 98% sure that it was 10GB monthly bandwidth limit.

Even on the main page under Free Hosting it says 10GB:

Yes, I noticed that too. SHAdmin, would an increase to 10GB make much difference on the system? Im not using all my 5GB, but my site is growing everyday and some day Im sure I'll need an extra 5GB.

I do remember at one time it being 10Gb in fact I had 10Gb Bandwidth at one time. I believe it was a limited time thing and it got reduced when the time was up though. I recall this cause I opted for that package for the 10Gb bandwidth cap cause I am usually on my website editing stuff sometimes 8 - 10 hours a day and it ended up getting pretty high up there.

I don't mind cause 5GB is sufficient for now but I don't think free hosting should be any higher than it is cause it's already such a generous offer :D.
