i use winrar and win rar is easier than any win zip i think that winrar is fantastic

I use WinRAR, far more extendable than WinZIP

Winrar is much better, coz winrar already include winzip and these days most downloads are coming in rar format, that means its need of winrar these days, more then winzip.

winrar and winzip both are good..both are also used for file compression but the main difference between these two are RAR has a lot of options and from my experience generally gives better compression.
ZIP is more of a standard, however, ZIP compression and decompression comes standard with many operating systems (like Windows) these days.
With WinRAR, you get both.
The second biggest difference, is that updates to WinRAR are free.
