Here is 3 Tips you should all take Just incase for any unexpected problems

1. All way's Back up your Forums [Monthly or Weekly]
2. Never Give out or Tell the Details to your FTP Details.
3. Change your password Now and then and make sure to change your email's recovery question's just incase hackers attempt to hack it.

I Make and upload forums such as phpBB2 without ad's and simply machines forums without ad's for a small price of me being a Administrator or Moderator, But the host must not have "Forced Ad's" if it does your forums that dont have ad's the Host will Force ad's to be placed on there.

Not telling people your passwords are basic Internet knowledge.

It is interesting to frequently backup data though, since there are so many factors that can make you lose it all, so you better be prepared.

I expecally agree with the change your passwords often.
about 4 months ago I lost everything on my server because of a hacker.
he had been running brute force on my ftp, site login, and mysql for weeks and got into it
destryoing everything.

So if you change them once every 2 weeks you should be protected from these attacks.
