Star Wars or Lord of the Rings?

Star Wars and Lord of the Rings both give viewers action packed battle scenes and both have a incredible story line but which one is better? my own personal opinion is Star Wars because of the story line and characters! But tell me what yours is i'm curious to know which of the public think is better altogether :!: :arrow: Please reply

Star Wars is better by miles, but Episode I and II sucked.

I think the star wars saga just repeats itself over and over again, and lord of the rings has more interesting characters. Go Smeagol!
