I tried uploading a few files with ftp through ie.
It didn't work,i had an error.But when i tried it with opera, it worked.
Does any1 knows y it doens't work with ie??

Nope, I only do it in FireFox...never tried it in IE as that browser is really bad at lots of stuff.

Yeah that's true though,but i wanted to use the ie.Cause that was the only browser installed on the pc i was sitting on.

That is because after the service pack 2 upgrade, microsoft seems to have disabled the use of ftp:// on IE.

So it's only on IE,and not also on ftp programs like(smart ftp)?

Not on any other programs. Atleast not as far as i know.
All other softwares having ftp feature will work. Basically it is not that the server doesnt accept IE as ftp, but it is that IE has discontinued this feature.
