Yeah, my site being hacked was probably my fault for leaving the sql password in the config file like that. Now anyone hacking can only edit the forum information, and I take daily backups to my own local computer with the MySQL Administrator software.

That's good, it could of been a number of things but all we know is security measures have been put in place so that it won't happen again. But we should still watch and protect ourselves just in case. It's good to see you are taking every precaution that you can.

Taking ever precaution is an understatement, that hack message was creepy, I'm not risking it coming back.

Yeah once it happens then you realize... ooooh duh! No wonder they tell us to secure everything. Now that it has it's like we are passing the information out... BACK UP AND SECURE! Just hope people will take our incidents and use them for their own safety, I'd hate to see something like this happen to other people.

Yeah... too bad I can't add a million firewalls to my site >.< Though that might produce problems... too may firewall alerts, and they'd all block eachother.

Lol, that would be absolutely amazing to set up that many fire walls. You would have to spread them over a few hundred computers and if you set up a password for each firewall for your users to get through.... wow.

Maybe we should set up a million pop-ups for anyone attempting to access a direct folder, that would show anyone trying to get your database information.

Yeah and have then all leading up to a single message.

1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, You are about to have a computer overload, 11, 12, 13

Have them all seperately say a word a piece from the following sentance.

"You, have, protruded, into, a, restricted, area, the, FBI, NSA, CIA, INS, Secret, Service, and, all, local, law, enforcement, have, been, called, to, respond, to, this, threat., Each, time, you, ****, one, of, these, you, are, giving, us, your, exact, location, and, unfortunately, you, must, ****, for, the, next, seven, years, to, finally, be, done, with, this, one, million, individual, pop-up, quest., Just, shut, your, computer, down, or, if, you, are, slightly, slow, then, continue, ****."

That would be cool to see how slow people really are by monitoring how far they **** into the never ending pop-up stream.

Haha, yeah. There are usually smart people, they use ctrl+alt+del and remove the browser, but I bet there are people trying to **** it to the end. :)

That's a great idea, and I'd use my server logs to see the webpages people viewed, and if anyone viewed those ones, I would know they were trying to get into a protected area, and could ban them :P. By the way TheCrymsonLegends, I don't think anyone's falling for your signature.
