Got to say I hated this mvoie. They added characters and things not in the original book. If they were trying a movie of the book they failed miserably and if not then they took a great title for an otherwise just bland movie.

the movie was very wierd... too much running about... and then the aliens died without a really proper and obvious explanation, unlike the book where at least it said they died of disease
