Just like stated before php passwords are encrypted, and cannot be seen only changed through MySQL. I have lost passwords on my own websites and was not able to find them, but only change them ( when I didn't have e-mail support set up. )

I do not see how this mistake could of been made because I use my password on this forum as MSN, Hotmail, Paypal, Runescape, and so much more. I have been a member for a Year, and never have I had a single problem with anything. So I do not see how this could of happend.

SHAdmin is a very professional and caring person, he set up FREE HOSTING because the need for money is not necessary. If he was looking for money then this site wouldn't be as big as it is. I am sorry for the inconvienance but maybe you hit a keylogger and someone used your paypal information and the fact you use smokyhosts to fraud a transaction. Once again sorry for the inconvienance to you, but SHAdmin would in no way be able to make a mistake this, hopefully the Paypal investigation will shed some light on however this was possible.

Edit: Just realized this was an old post, what was the outcome of this all? Just wondering or did the guy just vanish into thin air?

Reached 5000 Credits! The highest of any member on Smokyhosts! New milestone for Me!

Well, it so happened that someone (now i know exactly who it was, and i feel disgusted to say that that hacker is a member of this forum, but i wouldnt like to name him) had hacked into kronos's paypal account, purchased goods for himself from smokyhosts.com using kronos's paypal account, then kronos discovered it, put this thread here, filed a charge back with paypal.

And well, it is always known that paypal always gives first preferece to the customer, not to the merchant, so paypal refunded kronos his money.

And now it finally turns up that i guess kronos doesnt trust me anymore coz as soon as he got his refund, he left these forums and also left as a paid member.

Truly feel sorry for kronos, but on the other hand, i feel it is kronos who should be more carefull about his account details being hacked than actually blaming someone else in the public without any sort of proof.

And also i would like to thank all of you who supported me during all this issue.

THere is always a way man there is always to get from md5 I will not cliam thta I can but I know for a fact it is possible. I would just like to stress to shadmin that this isnt a big issue from the hacking community and I know most of the people that have toe ability to do this. I would just like to let you know that I will stop this if there is anoth uprising of this.

1-10 New hackers do this and 1-100 moderate do this and 1-10000 elite do this so I believe that if you are worried, dont be because this only happens if a person is new to hacking or you made them mad.

If you would like help Im always here.

these are old posts, but... its all about unhashing md5
http://saloon.javaranch.com/cgi-bin/ubb ... 5&t=000050

Unhashing md5 its the same like cracking zip/rar archive that has password. The way i know that it works in md5 unhashers like this, taking random string and the hashing using md5 hash method and theking with given hash. If the are not equal- taking other random string. Its like a computer guessing game. But it takes a lot of time and computer resources :) so...

I know theses are old but I felt like expressing my opinion here. And No its not like cracking zip/rar because they you a completly diffrent method that is super easy to crack but server md5 is much harder and there are only about 20 that I know that are the best of the best at it. But I guess we can let this die again, thx for letting me have my opinion.
