i have my 40GB samsung hdd
and have 80 sata but i coould not find any place to stick it to motherboard
what is the problem
my friends tol me to change my motherboard
do you have any suggestions
can i use sata with my motherboard
is there any adapter to convert sata to ata connectors

I have 4 hitachi's and had them fail 6 times, and 7 this past week. That means that the replacement RMA have also failed, I dont think I have one original drive out of these piles of crap. After the warranties expire on these I am going to look into WD raptors or a nice segate. Fujitsu suck too :)

i've got two HDDs :P
1'st is WD ATA 80Gb
2'nd - Seagate SATA2 250Gb
Seagate has 40-44 without cooler...what about others?

EIDE Western Digital 200GB hard drive in use here.

On another computer I'm using a similar 80Gb EIDE Western Digital hard drive.

The place from where I buy my computers seems to like using Western Digital hard drives. I don't complain they all work fine for me (except just now I'm having a problem with the larger one)

i have 60 gb in total (40 gb western digital ultra ata + 20 gb maxtor ultra ata)
