Can't Login to CPanel
If I forgot the password for the Cpanel, what should I do to get the new password? However, I am able to use the old password to login the ftp...
I don't think it is possible to reset your password in cPanel without having it re-installed. Also, cPanel passwords are atleast 7 characters, and must have at least 1 uppercase letter, 1 lowercase letter and 1 number (Obviously you'll have more than one of atleast one of the above, because the password must be atleast 7 characters)
Webmaster Yoda: You must confront the cPanel. Then, and only then, a webmaster will you be.
Julius Caesar: Veni, vidi, posti
Yes, that's why I forgot my password as I rarely use strong password... I can't remember what I was used for my new password... So what can I do now?Tails5 wrote:I don't think it is possible to reset your password in cPanel without having it re-installed. You sure can change the cPanel password on your own if you know your old password by going to the 'Change Password' section of your cPanel interface.Tails5 wrote:I don't think it is possible to reset your password in cPanel without having it re-installed. PM me your password changing request along with the email address that you gave at the time of your hosting account setup, and a new randomly generated password will be sent to you.
