If you are able to use the password to login to ftp, and if it is the default ftp account (if you havent created any new ftp account in cPanel), then the same password should work even to login to cPanel

I can login to default ftp account by using the original password. However, I remember that I changed my password before in the cpanel, but I forgot what it is... I used the same password in CPanel, but failed to login... could you help me to reset my password in CPanel? Thanks

I don't think it is possible to reset your password in cPanel without having it re-installed. Also, cPanel passwords are atleast 7 characters, and must have at least 1 uppercase letter, 1 lowercase letter and 1 number (Obviously you'll have more than one of atleast one of the above, because the password must be atleast 7 characters)
Webmaster Yoda: You must confront the cPanel. Then, and only then, a webmaster will you be.

Yes, that's why I forgot my password as I rarely use strong password... I can't remember what I was used for my new password... So what can I do now?

You sure can change the cPanel password on your own if you know your old password by going to the 'Change Password' section of your cPanel interface.

Hi,
PM me your password changing request along with the email address that you gave at the time of your hosting account setup, and a new randomly generated password will be sent to you.
