Fantastico or Joomla or Server Problem?

Post by limpeh-behsi »

I cannot change some of my Joomla settings because some files are unwritable and there is a file that supposed to be 'Off' but its 'On'. Please help me. Urgent.......

Edit : Just after I posted this, when I go to my site, I have this error :
Server not found
Firefox can't find the server at limpeh-behsi.thesmokylounge.com.

Whats happening to my account? Is it deleted? For what reason if it is deleted?

Thanks :)

As far as file permissions are concerned, Fantastico only handles the basic installation and the default configuration of the files/scripts. If you need to change the default configuration, then you must read the install/readme file from the original copy of that particular script from its official site and accordingly make the changes. You can change the file permissions by either going to your file manager or using your ftp.

The server was offline for a couple of hours, so why you've been getting that error.
