I have a question

Post by UniversesSpecialForces » Fri Aug 11, 2006 10:58 am

I have a question...
Well, what could be any better thing for being a free hosting company than having a trust of over 700 members and still growing continuously for the last more than 1 year with an uptime of atleast 97%!! Also the features offered along with the resources are at times even comparable to any other paid hosting packages!! All the free hosting members get support interacting in a community portal, and also live support for a free hosting company!! Free hosting members get their own subdomain as username.thesmokylounge.com so now no need to remember any long urls. Also every member gets their own control panel access to CPanel:The best control panel in town!!

It's just a type of server your website will run on..Doesn't matter much.

Linux is a platform, or you can take it as an operating system, there are Windows base platform too, and Apache webserver is a software running on Linuz.

example: MS Office running on MS Windows.

Hope i'm right :D

It means that our server uses Linux(Unix) as the operation system...It means more secure web-hosting!But it also means that our server doesn't support ASP,because it's a Microsoft product in base..So Linuz Servers are more secure and stabil than Windows servers..
Nothing to be proudly!

upon homeopathic principles-a medicine for the cure of ear-ache!” (15)
While on the subject of medicine, Clausen (10) reports that “One of the most interesting and remarkable species of cicada in the Orient is Huechys sanguinea. There it is called `chu-ki,’ and also “The red medicinal cicada.” It has brilliant red and black markings and is the only known cicada used as a blistering agent.” Chou (9) says that “Some of them [insects in Chinese pharmacy] have been used up to the present day, e.g. the exuviae of cicadas as an anti-febrile…”
Needham (21) in speaking of alchemy and chemistry in ancient China says: “Several alchemists are mentioned in official historiography of the time. The Chin Shu (History of the Chin Dynasty)” stated “Then there was Shan Tao-Khai, a contemporary of the Central Asian missionary monk and thaumaturgist Fo-Thu-Teng (fl. +310); he achieved a cicada-like metamorphosis by ingesting pills.
