Mail server help

I changed the DNS for my domain and it works but everytime I ery to check an email account for that domain it says bad login information. I am only using the first part of the email as the username and the password that I specified when I added the mail account

Yeah but sometime simple is messy and slower executing, better to learn properly so that changing coding style shouldn't have to happen later with larger applications
