I do not disagree with you at all. Alot of clutter is an eyesore and different font sizes make it look cluttered and a bit gaudy as for the gifs and flash as well. I will say though, the layout, as long as well done and quite neat, shouldn't matter whether it scrolls horizontally, vertically, or not...

That's what when I do get my website back up and running, it's not going to be extremely visitor based. You know, just personal stuff. I have children that require very much time and don't have a whole lot of time to devote to a site that would require a whole lot of visitor interaction.

Right now i'm using Photoshop CS3. I like some of the newer features and the new sleek look of it. I used to use JASC Paint Shop Pro quite a few years ago, I thought switching over to Photoshop was going to be a hard transition. Now that I use Photoshop, everything else seems to be useless.
