uh..... i loled. and carlshereen: youre gonna have to give us more information. we dont know what you want or how much youre willing to pay for it. if you give us that well try to find you the best hardware for the price. well maybe not find it for you, but point you in the right direction

Did you just try unlatching the cpu remove and replace to reseat and rewipe the contact surfaces?There could also be a build up of dust under the cpu shorting things out.

Thanks for the reference, but if Im reading this correctly, this approach disables all driver updates. Id like to be able to disable only the one pertaining to this thread -- the Prolific driver.

I never get to see our main pile because Im always maging, but I feel like people tank longer than they should. 2-3 consecutive spear specs and its game over for most of the people out there.

I've had to get a SDHC to CF adaptor, then use that in the CF card reader. Hasn't arrived yet, hope it works. shop said it would.
